I captured this urban landscape with a Fuji Digital Medium Format Camera and a Contax 645 120mm Planar lens.

The The Henry Marsh, I-675 bridge spans the Saginaw River in Downtown Saginaw, Michigan. This gritty urban image offers convergence of the center and forward concrete columns and steel girders above but a randomness of the remaining pier structures that fade into the distance. This very textured image was captured prior to the rumored “street art” transformation of the columns and pier structures that is rumored to be in the planning stages. On some future sofly lit day, I hope to fully capture that full transformation of the Henry Marsh Bridge.

The flat field and perfectly corrected 120mm lens created an extremely wide angle image free of any distortion through my careful capture of the eight extremely sharp images that compose this scene.

As is normal with my urban landscapes, I carefully composed this urban intimate landscape with a wider angle lens and then captured eight detailed images to produce the final large format 2:3 aspect ratio print file. Print sizes to 40″ x 60″ are critically sharp at extremely close viewing distances.

Limited Edition, fine art black and white photographic print, “Under Interstate 675 #4”, of the Henry Marsh Bridge that spans the Saginaw River in Michigan. This image was shot in Fuji digital medium format with a Contax 645 120mm Planar Lens.

 Print sizes to 40″ x 60″, and larger, are critically sharp at extremely close viewing distances. All images are what I saw with only color, brightness, shadow and contrast & local light and shadow adjustments, just as I did in the darkroom. 

This is a museum quality fine art print in black and white.

    Included in Your Print Purchase:

  • Pricing includes the print only, shipped flat to 16 x 20 or rolled in a tube mailer for larger sizes.

    • Framing, Presentation and Preservation:

  • All prints will require a frame, glass and backing material that matches print size. (Frames usually come 1/8” oversized to accommodate the glass, print and backing, please verify.)
  • Borderless Framing (meaning no cut mat board): All prints include a white border containing the number and signature.
  • Again, the white borders of the print assure that a cut mat board is not required for framing an Archival Print.
  • Acid Free white foam core is a good choice for backing in .25” thickness. An Acid Free mat board is optional between the backer board and the print.
  • Glass Options (“the Glazing”): Classic AR Glass, Museum Glass or other UV glass or a UV Acrylic as the “Glazing” (again meaning Glass) is highly recommended for UV protection and to protect the print. Classic AR Glass and Museum Glass are Anti-Reflective which greatly enhances viewing the print.
  • No spray or coating is required or recommended on any of our prints, please refrain from any such treatment.
