“Acadian Rock Flow #1”, in Acadia National Park, Maine, is offered as a custom fine art color photographic print, signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity.

I captured this subject Fuji RDP II 4×5 transparency film, to capture the detail and subtle color palette of the granite rock formation with the smooth cobblestones “flowing” from the rough crevice. This image was captured in perhaps one of the most heavily photographed locales within Acadia National Park with cameras, and now phones, pointed towards the beautiful, grandiose and obvious full “landscape”. Conversely, my eye is drawn to detail, and instead of setting my camera towards the grand scene, I focused inward, away from the most often rendered postcard seascape. The Ebony 4×5 view camera and ultra sharp 150mm APO Rodenstock Sironar S APO lens captured every minute detail which allows for sharp prints even in massive sizes of this favorite “intimate landscape”.

This limited Edition Print will be Signed and Numbered. Price is for the print only with a white border (click image to see example for largest sized print) and includes free shipping. Print requires framing and glazing (glass or acrylic) though no mat board will be required.

“Acadian Rock Flow #1” is offered as a limited edition, color fine art photographic print. I captured this subject in Acadia National Park, Maine on Fujifilm RDPII 4×5 transparency film with an Ebony 4×5 view camera and 180mm APO Rodenstock Sironar S APO lens.

There is also a black and white version of this image taken with B&W sheet film available in the Black and White Intimate Landscapes collection. The drum scan of the 4×5 transparency assures print sizes to 52 x 65 (and larger) are critically sharp at extremely close viewing distances. All images are as I saw them and imaged with only color, brightness, shadow and contrast & local light and shadow adjustments, just as I did in the darkroom. 

This is a museum quality fine art print in Color. Price includes the print, shipped flat to 24 x 30 and rolled in a tube mailer for larger sizes. Print only, includes white border, click image to see example for largest print size. Print requires frame that matches print size.  The print border assures that no mat board is required for framing. Classic AR Glass, Museum Glass or other UV glass or acrylic as the “Glazing” is highly recommended for UV protection and to protect the print. We can help with the framing in several molding styles and glazing options or steer you in the right direction for the perfect framing materials that assure archival print endurance.
