- About Archival Prints
The term “archival print” is frequently used to describe photographic prints of sufficient quality to persist for generations without fading or deterioration. Our fine art archival, museum quality prints are printed using the finest pigment-based inks on acid-free cotton rag paper. These prints will resist fade for centuries if preserved properly and shielded from UV rays via "glazing" such as UV or Museum Glass.

At Archival Prints, we understand the significance of choosing the correct paper for your giclée fine-art photographic prints. As a result, we offer a small selection of high-quality papers, each carefully selected for its capacity to produce magnificent, long-lasting prints. We provide acid-free and lignin-free cotton rag papers for our archival-quality fine art printing.
Our ink of choice is currently Epson Ultachrome Pro 12 which offers the widest color gamut in its class with a 99% match of the Pantone Formula Guide. This new pigment based ink allows for industry-leading print permanence with up to 200 years color and 400 plus years in black & white. With proper glazing (glass) such as "Museum Glass" or other UV blocking the longevity of Prints can be nearly infinite.
